It's time to step up and let your Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve and Talent shine! That's right hennys, this January, Cygnet Players will host their first ever drag-based social event: All the Worlds a Drag!

You can expect a performance full of high heels and hilarity as our four fabulous contestants battle it out in front of the panel of judges to win the crown, through a series of drag-worthy runways, challenges and daring lip-sync battles. Whether you're brand new to drag, or an avid Ru Paul fan, you'll have a blast!

Time - 7pm (doors open), 7:30pm (show starts!) until10:30pm

Our legendary Cygnets bar (with drinks from just £3.50!) will of course be open throughout the event for you and your table to grab a cocktail. Audience members are also encouraged to come dressed in their most outrageous of outfits (including full drag!) and there'll be a prize for the most fabulously-dressed attendee on the night!

Greggs’ steak bake and a nice pair of Nike trainers.

How would you describe your drag alter-ego in three words?
Brassy, Trashy and car-crashy
What’s your idea of the perfect date?
Fine wine, like Lambrini or a White Zinfandel. That good-looking bloke from the estate with the Burberry Cap, what’s his name. The Spoons, and a kebab on the walk home. Maybe a nice boozy-kebab-flavoured kiss at the end of the evening.
Do you believe in love at first sight?
Yes it were love at first sight when I met my ex and I had Lambert and Butler with him. They are my two beautiful twins! We’re not together now though. He’s in prison for library fines.

Who’s your favourite drag queen and why?
Vanity Milan! She has everything I aspire to have - the looks, the body, the confidence, the choreo, honestly just the diva essence. Plus she’s from South London too and that makes her even more relatable :)

How would you describe your drag alter-ego in three words?
Dancing-Hun, Alternative, Energetic! (that’s technically like three and a half if you think about it - close enough!)

What’s your favourite musical?
Hairspray! I love the message and overall back-story. It’s so heartwarming, fun and empowering but still informative, and all of the songs are i-conic! Tell me you haven’t had a long day, sang You Can’t Stop The Beat to yourself, and kept on trucking!
Who’s your style icon?
It’s a mix - a chunk of Tayce, a sprinkle of Icesis Couture, and a smidgen of Hoso Terra Toma.

If you were a cocktail, what cocktail would you be?
I know you expect a childishly rude response, like Slow Comfortable Screw, Sex on the Beach or Adios Motherf*cker. But I'm much too classy to mention anything so gauche. I'm a Kir Royale, through and through.

Do you believe in love at first sight?
I absolutely do. And so will the audience, as soon as they see me!

How would you describe your drag alter-ego in three words?
I wouldn't. I couldn't, really. Three words just isn't enough to allude to the grace, class and talent she has. Oh, okay maybe I can. Graceful, classy and talented.

What inspired you to take part in drag?
I’ve loved playing around with makeup and dressing up ever since I can remember, and I’ve always loved performing too! Drag gives me the opportunity to combine my passions and is a huge creative outlet for me!

Why do you think you deserve to be crowned as Cygnets’ next Drag Superstar?
My purpose is to showcase that drag is for everyone; drag artists come in all shapes and sizes, and there is so much more to drag than what is shown in the media! Being an alternative AFAB drag artist myself, I feel like I am a perfect example of this.

Who’s your style icon?
It’s a mashup between Lady Gaga, Hayley Williams, Taylor Momsen, Matt Bellamy and Gerard Way!
What are you going to bring to the competition?
The resurrection of emo culture!
Book Tickets
Tickets are £15 for standard entry, and include entry to the performance plus a welcome drink, as well as access to the legendary Cygnets bar! (over 18s only)

You can also book a table of five standard tickets. As tables are allocated in advance, on a first come first served basis, this will secure you a better position than buying on the door (so book fast!). These also include a welcome drink per person.
Want the best seats in the house? Why not upgrade to our VIP table ticket offer for five people! At £20 per person, this not only secures you and your best Judy's a seat at one of the PREMIUM tables (closest to the stage), but also includes a bottle of pink bubbles, plus snacks, ready and waiting for you all to enjoy in style on arrival.

Note - In the (hopefully unlikely!) event that the social needs to be rescheduled due to Government covid regulations, your tickets will be valid for the new dates/refundable.
Once you have booked your table, ahead of the event you will be emailed to advise of your table name to find on arrival.
COVID POLICY
We appreciate the importance of ensuring we are running our events sensibly and in accordance with government Covid guidelines.​

As such, we will be taking a number of measures so you can enjoy our event safely, including:

We ask all attendees to have please taken a negative lateral flow or PCR test ahead of attending

Masks are required unless performing, eating or drinking

The Hall will be well-ventilated as much as possible (as such, we advise making sure you dress warmly - cosy drag recommended!)

All communal spaces and items regularly cleaned

Hand sanitiser available throughout the venue, as well as hand washing facilities

We encourage card sales at the event to minimise contact

Whilst we will do as much as we can to ensure a stringent covid protocol at our events, if you are suffering from any Covid-19 symptoms (however mild), are waiting for results of a Covid-19 test, or live with someone who has recently tested positive for Covid-19, then we ask that you please play it safe and stay home
